Lithuania allocates EUR 2 mln for military equipment for Ukraine

Lithuania has already approved the allocation of nearly EUR 2 million for the purchase of equipment for Ukrainian troops and will continue to support Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor.

Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite said this during a meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Vilnius, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Our recent decision is to provide almost two million for the purchase of equipment," Grybauskaite said.

She assured that Lithuania would continue to help Ukraine.

"We will continue to train Ukrainian troops and provide medical assistance to them in Lithuania," the Lithuanian president said.

According to her, almost 180 Ukrainian soldiers have undergone rehabilitation since the occupation of Crimea.
