Contact Group subgroups on Donbas meeting in Belarus

A meeting of the working subgroups of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on the settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine has begun in Minsk, the Foreign Ministry of Belarus reported on Twitter.
“The meeting of the working subgroups of the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbas is being held in Minsk,” reads the report.
The ministry also reported that another meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group will be held in the Belarusian capital soon.
Among the main topics of today’s meeting is the scheduled trip of OSCE coordinator of the humanitarian subgroup of the Contact Group, Toni Frisch, to the part of Luhansk region, which is not controlled by the Ukrainian government. In addition, TCG is expected to discuss the reasons for blocking the work of Zolote checkpoint in Luhansk region, as well as the issue on possible exchange of captives and prisoners, the ministry reported.
