The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine will deploy tomorrow its monitors at its patrol base in Stanytsia Luhanska on a permanent 24/7 basis.

OSCE SMM Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug said this at a press briefing in Lviv on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Tomorrow, for instance, the OSCE SMM will deploy monitors on a permanent 24/7 basis at its forward patrol base in Stanytsia Luhanska. We already have a camera there since October 2016 and plan to install others," Hug said.

According to him, Stanytsia Luhanska is the only exit-entry checkpoint in the entire Luhansk region, where people must cross a bridge in a dangerous condition every day. Therefore, he said, it is necessary to continue monitoring the situation in the area.
