Over 13,500 Ukrainian servicemen get state awards - Defense Ministry

Over 13,500 servicemen and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received state awards since the beginning of an anti-terrorist operation in the east of the country, according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
Defense Ministry Spokesperson, Colonel Maksym Prauta said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Ukraine's defenders continue to receive awards for courage and dedication shown during the anti-terrorist operation. Over 13,500 servicemen and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received state awards since the beginning of the operation. More than 42,000 people have been given incentive awards of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry," Prauta said.
He also noted that over 208,500 servicemen and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who participated in the anti-terrorist operation had received the status of combatants.
