New law on reintegration of Donbas must ensure effective fulfillment of Armed Forces’ tasks – Poltorak

A new legislation on the state policy for the restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty over the temporarily occupied territories in Donbas should maximally ensure the effective fulfillment of military mission by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Defence Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak said this to journalists in Brussels on Friday, an Ukrinform own correspondent reports.
"I would like the new law to be adapted to modern challenges in order to ensure the ability to perform combat missions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an efficient way," the minister said.
Poltorak clarified that the new law should clearly define the rights and duties of the Armed Forces.
