President Poroshenko: Ukraine’s National Guard to become similar to NATO, EU bodies until 2020

The development of the National Guard of Ukraine provides for rapprochement of its structure and composition with similar bodies of the NATO and EU Member States.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this during the festivities of the occasion of the third anniversary of the National Guard of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Development of the National Guard fully complies with the program of development elaborated up to 2020. Its implementation stipulates rapprochement of its structure and composition with similar bodies of the NATO and EU Member States," the Head of State said.
That is why, Poroshenko emphasized, the main efforts on combat and special preparation are focused on studying and implementing the procedures of training used in those countries.
