President Poroshenko: 193 National Guard soldiers killed in ATO in eastern Ukraine

Since the start of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine, 193 servicepersons of the National Guard of Ukraine have been killed.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated this during the events dedicated to the third anniversary of establishment of the National Guard in Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Both the people and the leadership of the state highly appreciate the contribution of the guardspersons to national security. Some 1,175 soldiers were deservedly awarded. Some 193 guardspersons were killed defending Ukraine,” President Poroshenko said.
