Militants launched 106 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 106 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. 

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol). In addition, militants used tank to launch attacks on Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and infantry fighting vehicles to fire at Vodiane, Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk).

In Donetsk direction the tensest situation was observed near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), where militants threw intense fire into ATO troops, using machine guns, grenade launchers, mortars and tank. Ukrainian positions outside Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) came under grenade launcher and mortar fire.

In Luhansk direction, Ukrainian strongholds came under 120mm mortar, grenade launcher and machine gun fire near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).
