Hug: 16 civilians killed in Donbas this year

Alexander Hug, the First Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, has said that since the beginning of the year 16 civilians have been killed in Donbas.

He said this during a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission has confirmed the information about 86 victims among civilians, 16 of whom were killed, since the beginning of the year," Hug said.

As Ukrinform reported, six Ukrainian servicepersons were wounded and injured over the past day in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
