Militants launched 118 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 118 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. One Ukrainian soldier was killed, another nine were wounded.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used 122mm artillery to shell Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). Ukrainian positions in Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Vodiane, and Shyrokyne, using grenade launchers and small arms.

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants launched attacks on Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), using tanks, mortars and infantry fighting vehicles. ATO troops near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, terrorists used 152mm artillery and tanks to shell Troitske (69km west of Luhansk). ATO troops in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) came under 122mm artillery fire.
