Ukraine at NATO summit to represent new concept of army reform – Turchynov
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Oleksandr Turchynov, said this at a joint press conference with a representative of the National Security Bureau of Poland (BBN), Paweł Soloch, own Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We are seriously preparing for a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO group. We’re getting ready to present at these meetings a new concept of reform of Ukraine’s Armed Forces,” Turchynov said.
He stressed that for Kyiv it is very important that the issue of Russian aggression in Ukraine be considered at the NATO summit.
In the context of a possible meeting of the NATO-Russia Council in Brussels in the near future, the Ukrainian NSDC Secretary has said he hopes that NATO countries "will give a clear assessment of the aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine."
