The Defense Ministry of Ukraine initiates the establishment of the Ukrainian military police by 2018 to strengthen the responsibility of the servicemen for the war crimes.

This was announced by aide to the Defense Minister of Ukraine Tetiana Rychkova at the briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The military police should be launched by 2018. There will be no military law enforcement reform until the law on the establishment of the military police is passed," Rychkova said.

She added that the Canadian Embassy became interested in the establishment of such a law enforcement agency and expressed the willingness to provide assistance.
