3,010 people have been freed from the captivity of the militants during the antiterrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.

Advisor to the Chief of the Security Service of Ukraine Yuri Tandyt said this on the air of Channel 5.

In addition, the agreement on the release of more people from captivity was reached as a result of the Minsk talks on February 24.

"I can only confirm what is said in Minsk. We are really getting ready for the release of the hostages. There are several different groups, different information channels," Tandyt said.
