Co-owner of CEO Club Ukraine detained in Poland
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is seeking urgent consular access to Dmytro Karchuk, co-owner of the CEO Club Ukraine business club, who was detained in Poland.

The ministry's press service told this to journalists, according to Ukrinform.

"Having received information from the Polish prosecutor's office about the detention of Dmytro Karchuk in Przemysl, the Consulate General of Ukraine in Lublin urgently contacted the relevant local authorities with a request to visit the Ukrainian citizen. The request is being processed," the ministry said.

The press service added that the Ukrainian side expects consular officials to gain access to the detainee as soon as possible and stressed that the institution is closely monitoring the case.

According to media reports, co-owner of the CEO Club Ukraine business club Dmytro Karchuk was detained at the Polish border on the basis of an international warrant. The businessman's colleagues and lawyers say the detention may be linked to the use of Karchuk's personal data by third parties.
