NABU detectives conduct searches of State Tax Service officials

According to Ukrinform, the State Tax Service reported this on its Facebook page.

The tax service commented on the emergence of many versions and various information regarding the visit of NABU representatives, emphasizing: “On December 10, NABU detectives conducted searches of officials of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Khmelnytskyi region and the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv region. Investigative actions also took place at the central office of the State Tax Service.”

The criminal proceedings relate to events that occurred in 2024 and concluded at the beginning of 2025, and involve issues related to risky enterprises, the State Tax Service noted.

The data of the pre-trial investigation and the details of the case are the responsibility of law enforcement agencies. The management and employees of the State Tax Service fully cooperate with anti-corruption agencies, the tax authorities assured.

The State Tax Service of Ukraine operates within the legal framework and is always open to constructive cooperation with law enforcement agencies, the statement said.

As reported by Ukrinform, the NABU announced new suspicions as part of Operation Clean City, aimed at eliminating corruption in the land and budget spheres in Kyiv.
