Filatov, Lozhkin, Gontareva called in for questioning

Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) has called in former Head of the Presidential Administration Borys Lozhkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Oleksiy Filatov and former Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Valeriya Gontareva for the presentation of notices of suspicion and interrogation.

The summons have been posted on the PGO website.

In particular, the Prosecutor General's Office summons Gontareva on April 23 and 25 "to hand over a notice of suspicion and conduct interrogation as a suspect in criminal proceeding No. 12013220540000400 dated January 31, 2013, under Part 2 of Article 256, Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine."

Lozhkin was summoned on April 23 and 25 for the presentation of a notice of suspicion and questioning as a suspect in the same criminal proceeding under Part 2 of Article 256 and Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Filatov was summoned on April 23 and 25 to serve him with a notice of suspicion and conduct interrogation.

In addition, the PGO published similar summons to former Ecology Minister Mykola Zlochevsky and co-owner of the ICU investment company Kostiantyn Stetsenko.

As part of this criminal proceeding, the PGO is investigating the creation of a criminal organization by former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and the commission of crimes in the energy and banking sectors, taxation, etc.
