Accounts of DPR/LPR sponsors blocked

The officers of the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the State Service for Financial Monitoring blocked the scheme to finance the DPR/LPR terrorists through one of the Ukrainian payment systems.

"The officers of the Security Service of Ukraine jointly with the State Service for Financial Monitoring blocked the multimillion scheme to finance the DPR/LPR terrorists through one of the Ukrainian payment systems," reads the statement.
It is also noted that the software and hardware suites were serviced by the payment system dealers, which had been registered at the so-called “income and fees ministries of the DPR/LPR" and paid "taxes" to the budgets of the terrorists.
The law enforcement officers blocked UAH 5 million on 23 accounts, through which the funds from the transactions performed in DPR/LPR had been accumulated.
