Body recovered from rubble after Kramatorsk airstrike, 27 injured
Rescuers have recovered the body of one person from the rubble of an apartment building in Kramatorsk destroyed in a Russian airstrike on August 4, whereas the total number of people injured has risen to 27.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's State Emergency Service said on Facebook that emergency crews have completed search and rescue operations at the site of the strike on the 14-story residential building.

The search operation lasted for about 20 hours.

Rescuers, working together with municipal services, cleared 72 tonnes of debris from the site. The fire caused by the strike has been fully extinguished.

"Overall, 27 people were injured and one person was killed as a result of the attack," the State Emergency Service said.

Russian forces dropped two guided aerial bombs on the central part of Kramatorsk on August 4.
