August 6 declared day of mourning in Kyiv region
August 6 has been declared a day of mourning in the Kyiv region for those killed in Russia's overnight attack.

According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko announced this on Facebook.

As a mark of respect, Ukrainian national flags will be flown at half-mast across the region, and entertainment events will be restricted.

Sixteen people were killed and 36 injured in the Kyiv region during Russia's overnight combined missile and drone attack on August 5.
