According to Ukrinform, the company announced the decision on Facebook.

Ukroboronprom stated that it upholds the principle of the inevitability of accountability.

Based on the preliminary investigation, the directors of two state-owned enterprises where violations of legislation and ammunition storage safety rules were identified have been removed from their positions.

Other officials whose actions or negligence may have contributed to the serious consequences have also been dismissed.

"In addition to being dismissed, all those responsible will face criminal liability in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine," the company emphasized.

Ukroboronprom said it is fully cooperating with the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and other pre-trial investigative authorities by providing all necessary information and documentation.

At the same time, comprehensive inspections are underway at all company enterprises to verify compliance with ammunition storage and weapons handling safety requirements.

"We once again express our sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to everyone affected by this tragedy. It is our duty to do everything possible to ensure that such incidents never happen again," the company said.

As Ukrinform previously reported, more than 200 facilities, including over 100 residential buildings, were damaged during a massive Russian attack on Vyshneve on July 6.

Around 500 residents were evacuated from the danger zone.

The severe consequences of the strike were caused by a secondary detonation.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the facility in Vyshneve where the detonation occurred after the Russian missile strike was not under their authority.

On Saturday, July 11, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that specific Ukroboronprom officials responsible for allowing ammunition depots to be located in Vyshneve had already been identified.
