Large-scale fire extinguished in Hlukhiv following nighttime Russian attack

Rescue workers extinguished a large-scale fire that broke out as a result of a massive nighttime attack on the Hlukhiv community in the Sumy region.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service in the Sumy region reported this on Telegram.

“During the night, the city of Hlukhiv also came under a massive enemy attack. A large-scale fire broke out in the residential sector; citizens’ homes and farm buildings were ablaze. Despite the circumstances, the fire has been extinguished. Preliminary reports indicate that two people were injured,” the State Emergency Service reported.

They also reported that during the rescue operation, there were constant shelling threats, so rescuers repeatedly suspended their work and moved to a safe location.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that 22 civilians, including children, were wounded today in the Sumy region due to Russian attacks.
