Russian Su-30 fighter jet crashes in Crimea

A Russian Su-30 fighter jet has crashed in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The aircraft’s crew escaped.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the Crimea Realities Telegram channel, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that the incident occurred at 11:00 a.m. Moscow time during a training flight. The aircraft was flying without ammunition.

The crew ejected and was evacuated by a land search-and-rescue team. The pilots are not in danger.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have not yet reported the downing of an aerial target over Crimea.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that a Russian An-26 military aircraft crashed in Crimea, killing 29 people.
