Debris from Russian drone damages apartment building in Lutsk, strike on industrial facility reported

In Lutsk, debris from a Russian drone damaged an apartment building, and there was also a strike on an industrial facility.

According to Ukrinform, the Lutsk City Council reported this on Telegram.

"There was a hit on one of the industrial enterprises in Lutsk. Debris from a 'Shahed' drone also damaged a multi-apartment building. Information about casualties is being clarified," the statement said.

All emergency services are working at the scene.

Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk added that "a Nova Poshta warehouse and a food warehouse belonging to one of the retail chains were identified as strategic targets for the attack. A balcony in one of the high-rise buildings was also damaged, where a fire broke out." There is currently no information about fatalities.

Nova Poshta reported on Facebook that on the morning of April 1, enemy drones attacked the city, destroying a Nova Poshta terminal. All employees were in shelters at the time of the strike and were not injured.

The assessment of the damage is currently ongoing. Detailed information about damaged shipments will be determined after the aftermath of the strike is cleared. Police and the State Emergency Service are working at the scene.

"The company will compensate customers for lost shipments. In the near future, we will contact you and provide details of the reimbursement. Additional information about shipments can be found in the tracking section of the app," Nova Poshta said.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on the evening of March 31, Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih with jet-powered Shahed-type drones, injuring one person.
