Two killed and seven wounded in Dnipropetrovsk region in Russian attacks
This was reported by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“A school was damaged, and 10 private homes were destroyed. Rescuers recovered the bodies of two victims from under the rubble,” Hanzha said.
According to him, three of the seven injured are children: girls aged 8 and 17, and a 17-year-old boy.
“Three of the injured have been hospitalized. Medical personnel assess their condition as moderate. The rest will receive outpatient treatment,” the head of the Regional Military Administration noted.
Later, Hanzha clarified that 15 houses were destroyed as a result of the attack, and several dozen more were damaged. The head of the Regional Military Administration visited the site of the strike and spoke with local residents.
According to him, all emergency services are working to address the aftermath of the attack. Charities are distributing building materials to people so they can quickly repair broken windows and damaged roofs.
Compensation for destroyed or damaged housing will later be available through the state program “e-Restoration,” which also provides new homes for those whose houses have been destroyed.
“Local authorities have prepared temporary housing for people who have lost their homes. So far, one person has applied for such assistance,” Hanzha noted.
As reported, a woman was killed and two others were injured as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia.
