Russians attack heating facilities in Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kyiv regions at night
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba.
"In Kyiv, more than 1,900 residential buildings were left without heat after the attack. Taking into account previous attacks and the shutdown of the Darnytsia Thermal Power Plant, a total of 2,806 buildings in five districts of the capital are currently without heat: Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Pecherskyi, and Solomianskyi," the message says.
According to Kuleba, more than 100 emergency crews and over 400 specialists have been additionally involved in eliminating the consequences. Among them are utility workers from other regions and Ukrzaliznytsia employees.
Work is also continuing to repair damage to internal building networks and gradually restore the heating.
In addition, more than 30,000 users in the Kharkiv region were temporarily left without heating due to shelling and damage.
According to Kuleba, heating facilities in Sloviansk and Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region were hit.
“Utility services, energy workers, and rescuers are working on site. Restoration is ongoing,” the deputy prime minister emphasized.
