About 1,240 civilians currently remain in the Dobropillia community of Donetsk Oblast, including 950 people in the city of Dobropillia itself.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin stated this on Telegram.

"97% of residents of the Dobropillia community have left because of the war. But 3% remain, under the constant threat of shelling. Currently, there are 1,240 people in the community, including 950 in Dobropillia itself. Most of them are elderly people who either did not dare or were unable to leave their homes," Filashkin said.

According to him, municipal services continue to operate in the city, two shops are open, and humanitarian aid and medicines are delivered regularly. Local authorities, together with volunteers, provide daily support to those who remain.

Teams of the White Angels evacuation unit evacuate people every day to transit centers, where they receive assistance and can choose options for resettlement.

The community also supports those who have already left. Five assistance centers are already operating: in Dnipro, Kamianske, Sheptytskyi, Kyiv, and Pavlohrad. Another center is being prepared for opening in Odesa.

"In Dnipro, a building was purchased for social housing. Such projects, in partnership with communities and charitable organizations, are planned in other cities as well, so that people can preserve their unity even after forced evacuation," Filashkin emphasized.

As Ukrinform previously reported, about 11,000 civilians currently remain in the Druzhkivka community in Donetsk region, where evacuation is ongoing.
