One killed in Russian drone strike on commuter train in Kryvyi Rih district
According to Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration and Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba reported the attack on Telegram.
"In the Kryvyi Rih district, Dnipropetrovsk region, an enemy drone struck a car of a suburban train that was in motion. Unfortunately, one person was killed. We extend our condolences to the family and loved ones. According to preliminary information, seven passengers were injured," the statement said.
Kuleba noted that the locomotive crew immediately stopped the train. Passengers were evacuated and given first aid. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, railway workers, and a paramedic from nearby stations and depots quickly arrived at the scene.

The injured were hospitalized for further medical treatment.
Authorities are currently arranging transportation to take all passengers to their final destinations.
According to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, one of the injured later died in hospital.
"A man who was wounded during the attack on the Kryvyi Rih district died in hospital. Seven people were injured. Among them are two children – a 10-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy," Hanzha wrote.
He added that five injured people remain in hospital, and doctors assess their condition as moderate.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian army also launched a drone strike on a transport enterprise in the Kryvyi Rih district, leaving seven people wounded.
