Russian drone attack on Vilniansk leaves four people wounded

Russian forces attacked the town of Vilniansk in the Zaporizhzhia region with drones, leaving four people wounded.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.

“Russians attacked Vilniansk with drones. Private homes and outbuildings were damaged. Two women, a man, and a boy who is not yet two years old were injured,” he said.

All the injured are currently receiving medical assistance.

Fedorov added that over the past day, Russian forces carried out 657 strikes on 35 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In particular, Russian troops launched 23 air strikes on Zaporizhzhia, Veselianka, Stepne, Liubytske, Zaliznychne, Ternivka, Barvinivka, Huliaipilske, Vozdvyzhivka, Zelena Dibrova, Zelene, Samiilivka, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Novoselivka, Hirkе, and Kopani.

A total of 365 drones of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Vilniansk, Komyshuvakha, Bilenke, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Varvarivka, Zelene, Solodke, Dobropillia, and Pryluky.

Four multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks hit Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, and Zelene.

In addition, 265 artillery strikes were carried out on Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Varvarivka, Zelene, Solodke, Dobropillia, and Pryluky.

A total of 60 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities were received.

As reported by Ukrinform, on February 9, Russian forces attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia damaging power grids.
