Russian drone attacks DTEK crew in Donetsk region, driver wounded

A DTEK crew returning to base was attacked by a Russian drone in the Donetsk region, wounding the driver.

According to Ukrinform, the DTEK Group reported this on Telegram.

In the morning, the energy workers were returning to base after replacing a supporting structure. An enemy UAV exploded near the tractor.

“The driver was injured. He has already been taken to a hospital; his life is not in danger. We are in constant contact with our colleague and are providing all the necessary assistance,” DTEK said.

The equipment was damaged, but work continues.

“Despite the danger, energy specialists continue to work 24/7 to eliminate the consequences of the shelling,” DTEK emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of February 3, Russia launched its most powerful strike on the Ukrainian energy sector since the beginning of 2026.
