Russian drones hit energy facility in Chernihiv region, causing power outages
This was reported by Andrii Podorvan, advisor to the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, on a television broadcast, according to Ukrinform.
“Today, at around 5 a.m., Geran drones struck an energy facility in the Semenivka community. There is a fire at the site of the strike. Several settlements are currently without power,” Podorvan said.
He noted that at night, there was a Geran attack on one of the enterprises in the Bakhmach community, as a result of which a tank and some other equipment were damaged.
On the afternoon of January 27, an FPV drone strike damaged a house in Semenivka. A UAV dropped a bomb in the village of the Semenivka community, setting a house on fire.
According to the adviser, over the past day, Russian troops fired on settlements in the region 26 times, with 40 explosions recorded.
As reported by Ukrinform, on January 25, Russian troops shelled the Chernihiv region 42 times, with 56 explosions. The communications facilities were targeted.
