Over 3,000 apartment buildings in Kyiv remain without heat – mayor
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Some 3,300 apartment buildings in Kyiv remain without heat after the enemy's attack on the capital last night," Klitschko wrote.
The mayor said that due to the massive attack and damage to critical infrastructure, nearly 6,000 buildings in Kyiv were left without heating again in the morning. Most of these are buildings that had already been connected or had attempts made to restore heat after the attacks on January 9 and 20.
"Municipal and energy workers continue to work to restore services to Kyiv residents' homes. Water supply has already been restored," the mayor added.
During the massive attack overnight on January 24, Russian forces used 12 Kh-22 missiles, nine of which were successfully shot down.
As a result of the attack, almost 6,000 buildings in the capital were left without heating.
