Defense Forces prevent Russian attempts to amass equipment for assault on Myrnohrad – military

The Operation Task Force "East" stated this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to control the northern part of Pokrovsk. All enemy movements are detected in a timely manner, and fire damage is inflicted on the adversary.

In Myrnohrad, Ukrainian units control the northern part of the city. Search-and-strike operations by the Defense Forces are ongoing to prevent further enemy advance.

The Defense Forces are focused on the timely detection and destruction of combat equipment that the enemy is attempting to stockpile for an assault on Myrnohrad.

Ukrainian units are being supplied with the necessary means to maintain combat capability in low-temperature conditions. Logistics remain challenging. Heavy drones and ground robotic systems are being used for resupply.

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the Eastern Group of Forces have repelled 78 Russian assaults since the beginning of the day.

Active operations by Ukrainian units continue in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration area. The enemy is suffering significant losses.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian invaders have made 56 attempts to push the Defense Forces out of their positions in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Ivanivka, Dorozhnie, Rodynske, Sukhetske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Horikhove, Dachne, and toward Novopavlivka. In some locations, combat engagements are ongoing.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian invaders in the Pokrovsk direction are attempting to build up forces for further actions aimed at cutting Ukrainian military logistics routes and infiltrating Myrnohrad.
