Defense Forces stop Russian assault near Chasiv Yar – military

With the support of artillery and drones, Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled an assault by Russian invaders in the area of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region.
The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade stated this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
For the attack, the enemy used armored vehicles and quad bikes. Ukrainian soldiers detected the enemy's movement in advance and, in coordination with adjacent units and with the support of artillery and drones, stopped the assault.
The Russians lost 10 personnel, one MT-LB armored vehicle, and one quad bike.
As Ukrinform previously reported, taking advantage of weather conditions, the Russian army has intensified pressure on the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
