Zelensky unhappy with air defense performance against Shahed drones

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is dissatisfied with the performance of air defense forces against enemy UAVs during Russia's latest aerial attack and promised that conclusions will be drawn.
The head of state said this in his nightly video address, Ukrinform reports.
"The performance of the Air Force against Shaheds is unsatisfactory: we have interceptors, significant forces are engaged – mobile fire groups, F-16s are available – but the organization of Air Force operations must be different," Zelensky said.
According to him, he discussed the situation separately with the defense minister. "Conclusions will be drawn," he said.
Zelensky noted that Kyiv is currently facing the most difficult electricity situation, as Shahed drones struck an energy facility in the Kyiv region this morning. Restoration work is now under way.
