Russia launched air strike on Kharkiv

Russian troops struck Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs.

This was reported by Mayor Ihor Terekhov on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Three strikes on the city by enemy guided aerial bombs have been recorded. Details are being clarified,” the post says.

“All three strikes were in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv,” he said shortly thereafter. He also noted that as of 3:40 p.m., there were casualties: “As a result of enemy guided aerial bomb strikes on the private sector of the Slobidskyi district, there are dead and wounded, and private houses have been destroyed,” he said.

According to preliminary information, one woman was killed and another person was injured, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, clarified shortly thereafter.

The deceased was 65 years old.

It is noted that this is the third attack on the city during the day. Prior to this, Russia struck with missiles and UAVs.

As reported, on the morning of January 19, Russia struck a critical infrastructure facility in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv. In the afternoon, they struck the Saltivskyi district with a drone.
