In Chernihiv region, drone attacks cultural center, injuring woman
This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, according to Ukrinform.
“Yesterday afternoon, a strike drone attacked a cultural center in Snovsk. The roof, windows, doors, and a hall where children were playing sports were damaged. A 45-year-old woman was injured in the attack. She is currently under medical supervision,” Chaus said.
The Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration noted that over the past day, the primary targets were energy facilities in the region. In particular, Geran drones struck the Kholmy, Novhorod-Siverskyi, Mena, and Koriukivka communities, leaving about 100 settlements without electricity. The situation is most difficult in the region's northern communities.
In addition, a Geran drone hit one of the enterprises in Mena. A fire broke out at the site of the strike.
Chaus specified that over the past day, Russian troops fired on settlements in the region 48 times, with 91 explosions reported.
As reported by Ukrinform, on January 18, the Russian army attacked a critical energy facility in the Koriukivka district of the Chernihiv region.
