Rescuers in Kyiv have completed work to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack on the city that occurred overnight on Friday.

The Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Kyiv reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Work to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack on the capital has been completed. As of 17:00, 25 people were injured as a result of the Russian strike, including five rescuers. Unfortunately, four people were killed. Thirty-two people were rescued," the statement reads.

Kyiv police clarified that a 31-year-old Kyiv resident was killed in the Dniprovskyi district as a result of the attack, not her 49-year-old mother as previously reported. The latter is currently under medical supervision with a head injury and other wounds.

"We thank rescuers, medics, psychologists, volunteers, and everyone who helped during this difficult time," the capital's emergency service said.
