Russian attacks damage about 27 buildings in two districts of Kharkiv

In Kharkiv's Kyivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, as of 19:00 on Friday, January 2, damage to at least 27 buildings was recorded as a result of a Russian ballistic missile attack.

According to Ukrinform, the Kharkiv City Council stated this on Telegram.

A total of 872 windows in apartments and 104 in building entrances were shattered. Twelve roofs were damaged.

Downed street lighting wires have already been restored. Municipal utility workers continue to deal with the aftermath, with repair crews operating in an intensive mode.

As Ukrinform reported, on January 2 at around 14:30, Russian troops carried out a ballistic strike on a residential building in Kharkiv. According to the latest data, the number of people injured in the Russian attack on the city has risen to 31.
