UAF shows Kupiansk destroyed by Russians
According to Ukrinform, Operational Command "North" published the photos on Facebook.

"Kupiansk once lived an ordinary life. Courtyards filled with children's voices, shops, hospitals, schools, minibuses with morning passengers. Today this city is shattered and burned. Not because there were 'military targets' here, but because for Russia there is no difference between the front line and a peaceful street," the military said.

"The enemy does not fight by the rules. It simply does not recognize them. Shelling of residential neighborhoods, strikes on hospitals, houses destroyed with people inside — these are not 'mistakes' and not 'accidents'. This is a method. This is deliberate terror. Russia did not come to 'liberate' or 'protect'. It came to destroy — cities, people, and the very right of Ukraine to exist," Operational Command "North" emphasized.

The published photographs show Kupiansk which, as the military noted, has been "almost wiped off the face of the earth."
"And next to these ruins stand Ukrainian warriors. Soldiers of the 116th Separate Mechanized Brigade are holding the city," Operational Command "North" said.

As Ukrinform previously reported, according to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukraine's Defense Forces will continue active operations near Kupiansk and destroy the enemy on the northern and eastern approaches to the city.
