Drones attack oil refinery in Volgograd, Russia, again

Andrey Bocharov, Governor of the Volgograd region, said that Volgograd was being attacked by Ukrainian drones.

He wrote on his Telegram channel that the attack was being repelled and that “there are currently no casualties or damage to facilities.”

Telegram channels report that about 20 explosions were heard over Volgograd, and about ten drones were destroyed.

Most of the explosions were recorded in the Krasnoarmeysky district of the city, where the LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery is located, which has been repeatedly attacked by Ukrainian drones in the past.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that Russian air defense forces “shot down 77 Ukrainian drones” overnight.

As reported by Ukrinform, as a result of a strike by Ukrainian drones on the night of December 25 on the port of Temryuk in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, located on the Sea of Azov, near Kerch, two tanks with petroleum products were damaged.
