Russian troops shell Sumy community, damaging houses and power lines

Russian troops attacked the Sumy community with multiple launch rocket systems, damaging residential buildings and power lines.

This was reported by Oleh Hryhorov, the Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Today, the enemy attacked the Sumy community. There were hits in the Stetskivka subdistrict. Fortunately, no one was injured. Residential buildings were damaged,” he wrote.

According to Hryhorov, the strike was preliminarily carried out with multiple launch rocket systems.

The area is being surveyed, and residents of damaged homes will be provided with the necessary assistance, including repairs, the Head of the Regional Military Administration added.

The Sumy City Military Administration specified that as a result of the Russian rocket artillery strike on the Stetskivka subdistrict of the Sumy community, five residential buildings and power lines were damaged. Other consequences are being clarified.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army shelled 20 settlements in the Sumy region in 24 hours.
