Enemies attack residential area of Zaporizhzhia: Number of injured climbs to six, including child

Russian forces attacked a residential neighborhood of Zaporizhzhia on the morning of December 14, causing significant destruction and injuries.

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“On a weekend morning, the enemy attacked Zaporizhzhia. Emergency services have been dispatched to the site. The consequences are being assessed. The attack is ongoing. Please remain in safe locations,” Fedorov wrote.

According to updated information, Russian forces struck a shop.

“Russians attacked a shop in one of the city’s residential districts. The premises were destroyed, and people are receiving the necessary medical assistance,” the Head of the Regional Military Administration said.

It later became known that six people were injured.

“Six injured, including a child: among those who required medical assistance as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia are a child and an employee of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine,” he wrote.

According to Fedorov, victims continue to seek medical assistance following the attack on the shopping center. Additionally, ambulance crews have been dispatched to the sites of other incidents.

He also released a video showing extensive damage to the city’s civilian infrastructure.

As reported by Ukrinform, over the past day, Russian forces carried out 570 strikes on 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
