Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi visited combat units in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, and listened to reports from commanders on the operational situation.

According to Ukrinform, Syrskyi reported this on Facebook.

"I worked with units of the search-and-strike group and the Kupiansk tactical group. I had a substantive conversation with the command staff of the search-and-strike group. We discussed measures to stabilize the situation in the Kupiansk area. I listened to reports on the operational situation—the information is encouraging," the commander-in-chief said.

According to him, "our units have managed to significantly improve their tactical position directly in the city. The routes of infiltration of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been blocked. The clearing of the Kupiansk area from Russian invaders, who have been “successful” only in terms of propaganda, continues. We are working on gradually pushing the enemy out of their stronghold north of the city, as well as from a number of other areas where the Russians still maintain their presence."

Syrskyi spoke with the personnel.

He emphasized that he admires the courage and professionalism of Ukrainian soldiers, who demonstrate exceptional resilience and readiness to destroy the enemy, and thanked them for their military service.
