One killed, eight injured in overnight Russian attack on Kyiv region
The Kyiv region police reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
The strike caused damage to 13 apartment buildings, 9 private homes, 20 garages, and 24 vehicles.
In Brovary, seven apartment buildings, four private houses, 14 vehicles, and 20 garages were damaged. A fire broke out in an apartment building, and 52 residents, including three children, were evacuated. The fire has been extinguished. Three people were injured, and one woman was hospitalized.
In the Bucha district, a private house and seven vehicles caught fire. Four apartment buildings and one private home were damaged. Two men sustained injuries. The police station in Vyshneve was also damaged.
In the Fastiv district, a two-story private house was damaged. A 55-year-old woman was killed, and a man was injured.
In the Obukhiv district, four private houses and three vehicles were damaged. One injured person was taken to hospital.
In Vyshhorod, two apartment buildings were damaged. A woman was hospitalized.
Patrol police response teams, investigative teams, explosive ordnance specialists, medical crews, and emergency services are working at the scenes to document the consequences of the attack.
Investigators will open criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
