In Ternopil, 35 people killed in the Russian attack are identified
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Ternopil region, according to Ukrinform.
“With the help of DNA testing, law enforcement officers were able to identify another victim who was considered missing. This is a 73-year-old man who lived on Stus Street,” the report said.
As confirmed to the Ukrinform correspondent in the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, this is the deceased whose body was being identified. That is, the total number of people killed as a result of the missile attack is 35, all of whom have been identified. Among them are seven children. Five people, including one child, are still missing. The investigation is ongoing.
As reported by Ukrinform, 28 victims of the Russian attack remain in hospitals in Ternopil, including four children.
On the morning of November 19, the Russians attacked Ternopil with strike drones and missiles. Two residential high-rise buildings were hit in the city. On November 22, search and rescue operations, which lasted four days, were completed in Ternopil.
