Casualties, fatalities reported as Russians shell Kherson region throughout day
As reported by Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office announced this on Telegram.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson region prosecutors, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes,” the statement says.
According to the investigation, on November 24, Russian forces shelled populated areas of Kherson region using mortars, artillery — including rocket artillery — and drones.
As of 17:30, prosecutors report that three people had been killed and three injured as a result of the Russian attacks.
In particular, one person was killed and another injured in Kherson due to artillery shelling.
In the settlement of Novovorontsovka, a woman was killed and another injured in an FPV drone attack. In Bilozerka, a man was killed after Russian forces dropped an explosive from a drone.
Near the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka, a 17-year-old boy was injured after stepping on a “petal” mine.
Private houses and agricultural enterprise facilities were also damaged.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the settlement of Bilozerka in Kherson region, a Russian drone killed an elderly man. A drone attack on an administrative building in Novovorontsovka killed a 62-year-old council employee. A 61-year-old local woman is in hospital with blast trauma and shrapnel wounds.
