Ten shelters being built in education facilities in liberated parts of Kherson region

The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Ten new shelters are under construction in the de-occupied communities. Three of them are already completed, while the remaining seven, which are currently in progress, will be commissioned in the first half of next year. This decision will allow 18 educational institutions to switch to a blended learning format," the statement reads.

In addition, proposals have been submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science for the construction next year of two more shelters in schools and six in kindergartens. Project and cost documentation has already been prepared for all the new facilities.

During his visit to the Kherson region, Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi inspected the progress of work on the protective structures.
