Defense forces control most of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, and Russian groups in the northern parts of the city are cut off from ground supplies.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Joint Forces Operation in Telegram.

Russian troops in Kupiansk have been ordered to simulate control over the city by waving Russian flags where their small groups are present. The invaders have begun putting flags in supply packages for their own troops, which are dropped on the city using drones.

“At least one such ‘operation’ has already taken place — we expect a quick and somewhat truncated video at the end of all Russian media,” Ukrainian fighters noted.

"On behalf of the defenders of Ukraine, we declare: the occupation of the city is not something that can be imitated. Despite the statements by Vladimir Putin and the General Staff of the Russian Federation about the ‘encirclement’ of the city and Ukrainian forces in it, most of Kupiansk is controlled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and Russian groups in the northern areas are cut off from ground supplies," the city's defenders emphasized.

According to them, the current action is an attempt to put on a brave face and cover up the obvious lies of the head of the Russian regime.

The fighters thanked the Russian commanders for helping to “highlight” the small groups of infantry scattered around Kupiansk with such actions. This makes the work of Ukrainian drone operators easier. Russian servicemen who received such an order were advised to change their flag to white.

As reported by Ukrinform, on November 15, there were five attacks by the Russian army in the Kupiansk direction. The defense forces repelled the Russian assault in the Bohuslavka, Kupiansk, and Pishchane and Novoplatonivka areas.
