Russian agent detained in Kyiv for arson
According to Ukrinform, the Kyiv Police Communications Department reported this on its website.
Investigators established that the young man found an online advertisement for a job that involved setting vehicles on fire in Kyiv for a specified payment, and he contacted the anonymous "employer."

The suspect received clear instructions from his handler regarding the targets that needed to be set on fire. Acting on the enemy's orders, the young man arrived at a garage located near a gas station in the Obolonskyi district in search of vehicles belonging to the military. However, he did not find the required vehicles, so he decided to burn civilian cars instead.

The perpetrator doused parked Mercedes-Benz and BMW cars with a flammable liquid and set them on fire. Two cars were completely destroyed, and a Hyundai was partially damaged.

Operatives together with criminal analysts identified the 18-year-old Kyiv region resident involved in the arson and detained him.
Investigators of the Obolon Police Department, under the procedural guidance of the Obolonskyi District Prosecutor's Office, served the suspect with a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — intentional destruction of another person's property by arson.
The article provides punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years.
As Ukrinform reported, in Kharkiv, a 16-year-old teenager was detained on suspicion of setting a locomotive on fire at a railway depot.
