Soldiers of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces repelled the enemy's advance, inflicting significant losses on the invaders.

According to Ukrinform, the brigade reported this on Telegram and released a corresponding video.

Russian forces tried to use heavy fog on the Kostiantynivka front to their advantage, attempting to push into the city and its outskirts. They gathered a large number of troops, hoping to achieve surprise.

"Our scouts detected the movement of enemy groups in time, and the brigade's fighters met them with heavy fire. The fog became a trap for the Russians — they could not see where the strikes were coming from, while we worked precisely and accurately," the statement read.
